These Industrial Roto Shock Rack cases from SKB are an instant success with all companies utilizing the deeper servers such as the Dell, Compaq, and Apple servers. These rack cases, like the 24” roto racks have threaded steel rails and aluminum cross components that form a rigid "H"-shaped configuration. The cases feature a compound hinge system and field replaceable latches that allow the lid to swing completely around to lie flat against the main body of the case. As an alternative, you can go lid-less with an effortless lift motion, reinstalling in seconds with the same ease. The doors are gasketed and the case is provisioned with a pressure relief valve (MIL-STD-648C).
The front and rear lids are designed to protrude into the base of the case approximately 1"; their unique double-wall structure makes them incredibly stiff where this intersection occurs. This new generation of shock racks is engineered to offer MIL-SPEC sealing characteristics with significantly fewer latches than most Roto Shock Racks. This allows for rapid deployment in an up-right configuration -- even when the cases are stacked. The standard front-to-rear rail depth is 28" and each lid is 4" deep. The new SKB shock-rack system stacks securely with the wheels on or off, and this revolutionary design is also the only shock rack that will open front and back while stacked.
This shockrack features eight elastomeric shock (load range of 40 to 150 lbs.) with provisions to add additional shocks for an extended payload range.
The 28” Heavy Duty Shockrack systems include a revolutionary Adjustable Rail Conversion System. This ARCS technology allows the user to adjust the rack width up to 0.5 inches on each side and optional easy-mount adapter rails will convert the equipment mounting standard from 3/16" threaded to 7/32" through holes or square cage nut windows accommodating Dell and Compaq servers utilizing "Versa-rail" or "Rapid-rail" pull-out systems.
To stand behind the product, these rack cases come with the “Million Mile Guaranty” - you break it…SKB replaces it, for free, for life.

A California-based spinal company relied on flimsy corrugated packaging and commercially-produced dunnage to protect their anatomically-driven instrumentation. They came to Cases By Source to explore more effective alternatives and, in the course of sending their equipment for measurement, experienced first-hand proof of their need for cases: The tools were damaged in transit.
To protect the client’s sensitive equipment, we suggested a durable but portable case that would guarantee protection and still offer the aesthetics of a sales demo kit. The Pelican 1510 Carry-On Case pairs durable, lightweight construction with a travel-friendly design that meets FAA carry-on size regulations—a perfect solution for this client’s needs.
Using our sophisticated structural design tools, we measured each piece of equipment in order to determine the most sensible layout for the custom interior. We then created 3D computer models of the instruments and proposed interior to provide the customer with a quick snapshot of the case before production commenced. For this client, we fabricated a closed-cell cross-linked, routed-foam custom insert to secure the items and display them in an efficient order inside the watertight, crushproof and dustproof case. This foam is available in a variety of densities with rich color saturations. For brand recognition and informational purposes, we added a scratchproof, personalized label to the exterior and a literature pouch was secured in the lid.
