Aerospace


The Aerospace Industry requires critical tolerances when it comes to handling and transporting fragile equipment. We design and manufacture shipping cases for the most sensitive electronic and scientific instrumentation. Our diverse manufacturing processes allow us to design the best solution for your requirements – roto-molded plastic, injection molded, and welded 5052 aluminum are just a few processes we offer. Whether you are involved in commercial aviation or space exploration, our sales engineers can work with you to ensure you are in compliance with MIL-SPEC, ATA Spec 300, or other FAA regulations for secure storage and safe transportation of your critical equipment.

Broadcast & Communications


From large networks to small production studios, Cases By Source provides protective cases for audio, video, and lighting equipment. Our full line of standard and shock-mounted rackmount cases allow you to be operational in the field quickly. We can either customize a Pelican, SKB, Gator or other leading brand to house your production equipment or build a custom ATA road case. Cases can be designed to protect components individually or the equipment may be designed to operate within the case. In working with broadcast companies for over two decades, we have designed cases for editing consoles, power supplies and battery packs, lighting devices, editing decks, video monitors, microphones, tripods, cameras, video lenses, and other communication equipment.

Consumer Products


Our line of presentation cases: EuroCase, Hofbauer, soft-sided, or an elegant wood case will enhance and drive increased market share for your product. They are economical solutions that will provide a marketing boost, while controlling your costs. In many instances, a reusable presentation case can be more cost effective compared to disposable packaging. Cases can be molded in different colors, exteriors can be branded with hot stamped or silk screened logos, and interiors can be outfitted with custom foam or thermoformed interiors. We have designed cases for binoculars, knives, guns, pens, cosmetics, and collectable china to name a few.

Medical & Pharmaceutical


Medical device and pharmaceutical companies require cases with demanding aesthetic and functional needs. At times special resins are required to withstand specific temperature ranges or other critical tolerances when shipping valuable drugs, blood or tissue. Cases By Source is a GSA approved contract holder. We have a full line of product available on GSA Advantage as well as develop custom solutions for all branches of the military and government contractors. MIL-SPEC’s ands IP ratings, such as 810F and IP-67 are used daily by our sales engineers. The Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, Air Force, FBI, and ATF all transport our cases in tactical environments. Years of experience in Package Design for protecting high tech, high valued assets, coupled with our flexibility to develop a case solution in a short period of time come into play when working with the US Military, government contractors, and other federal agencies. We pride our reputation on quality and attention to detail not only with the transit case and foam product we develop, but the paperwork and inspection reports that accompany the shipment.

OEM & Industrial


OEM projects and industrial cases represent a large and diverse group of our customers. They are some of the most rewarding design challenges because we partner with you to develop and create an integral component of your product. Size, weight, load, and shape of the components all have to be considered when reviewing possible solutions. Together we will determine if we will customize a stock case with a foam interior, or if a completely custom solution is required. When going the custom route, we will present the advantages and drawbacks of injection molding, blow molding, roto molding, vacuum forming, welding, and traditional fabrication to best meet your project needs on time and within budget. We have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of companies such as Olympus, 3M, Praxair and BASF to name a few.

Sales & Marketing


Sales demo cases can be exciting and reflect the product they contain. Cases By Source will help you present your product to the market. Working with different materials: plastic, metal, wood, and fabric allow us to develop highly customized, and at times, sexy solutions. Interiors can be enhanced with colored foams, or molded inserts. Our background in protective packaging and deep understanding of foam cushioning ensures that it doesn’t only look good, but that it will safely arrival at your meeting to make the presentation, and win the business. We work with your team collaboratively, usually produce a prototype, and then make final revisions prior to production. Leveraging this team approach, an excellent presentation is ensured.

Trade Show


At Cases By Source, we understand the expense of participating in a trade show. Not only is it important that your product and equipment arrives to the show in working order, it is also critical that it returns safely without damage. We believe it is just as important to consider the tear down of a booth as the setup. We offer a full range of stock trade show cases: graphic tubes, panel cases, bulk containers, plasma and LCD screen cases to ensure that your equipment is transported safely. Our Booth In a Box is a bulk container that contains table legs in the lid so you not only transport your product easily, but you don’t have to rent expensive tables, or store your cases in the warehouse during a show. Everything stays in the booth, and tear down is quick and efficient. Interiors can be customized to house supply drawers, file drawers, computer and monitor compartments, or other storage areas. If a stock case doesn’t meet your needs, we will fabricate a custom case based on your specific requirements. We proudly design cases for Fortune 500 companies, as well as hundreds of small and medium sized businesses with a 10’x10’ booth budget.
