Light bulb phase. The goal of this phase is to gain a deeper understanding of your objectives and the passion behind your product so we can weave it into the fabric (pun absolutely intended) of your packaging solution.
The napkin sketch. Playing on our collective knowledge and creative collaboration, together we sketch out high-level design options. In doing so, we develop the tone of the final design through functionality, colors and brand representation.
The sketch pops off the paper. With a roadmap in place, we move to the drafting table where the design and concept take shape. This phase is critical to answering open questions so we minimize potentially expensive changes later in the process.
Drum roll please. Through 3D models and rendering, this is the phase where you’ll get a sense of the look and feel of the final product. While we aim to have the initial vision captured, elements can be revised to ensure it’s exactly what you want.
It’s tool time. Sit back and relax while we create your custom dies and molds (if applicable). Depending on the manufacturing process, this can take between anywhere from 1 week to 6 weeks in the case of a more complex injection molded tool.
It’s aliiive! All custom projects, of any size, won’t proceed into the manufacturing stage without an approved First Article. This is the moment where your product is finally tangible and comes to life. And if ISTA or environmental testing is required, it would happen during this phase as well.
Shh! No peeking. You can continue to chill while we continue cutting, molding, sewing and printing away. This is the phase where your case is assembled, inspected packed and prepared for shipment to you and your well-deserving customers.
